Would YOU let your dad do your make-up? Blogger's father is let loose on her beauty bag - with seriously dodgy results

With her flawless complexion, perfect pout and long eyelashes, she hardly needs a helping hand when it comes to the make-up department.

But Dubai-based beauty blogger Huda Heidi Kattan recently decided to enlist the help from an unlikely source, in the form of her dad.In a format that is becoming increasingly popular with bloggers - getting a complete novice to attempt to do your make-up - she asked her father, 73-year-old Ibrahim, to do his worst with her foundation, lip liner and eye shadow.

She posted the results in a 15-second timelapse clip on her Instagram and YouTube, telling her 12.3 million followers: 'My father doing my makeup! What do you guys think?'

The clip shows her dad looking baffled as he begins with a foundation bar, daubing random lines all over her face, starting 

with her cheeks and chin before attempting to blend it with a beauty sponge while Huda laughs hysterically.

This is the foundation... I think I put too much pressure somewhere,' he admits. 

He then tries his hand at contouring, using a trick that Huda came up with herself; using sticky tape as a stencil and painting around it with a dark brown stick.

'Ow ow ow!' his daughter screams as he peels the tape off. 

Ibrahim attacks her face once again with the beauty blender - with little success - before trying his hand with some garish pink eyeshadow and a lick of which he then proceeds to smudge all over her nose.

He finishes with some bright pink lipstick and lipliner, before dusting her cheeks with some blusher.

After checking her reflection in her phone screen, Huda says: 'You tried your best, that's all that matters,' before leaning in for a hug.

Her fans clearly thought the clip was endearing, as it drew in more than 155,000 likes.

Faiza Qayum wrote: 'Hahaha aww bless him!' and Jeilynn added: 'Lol..so adorable.' 

Huda is known for her experimental techniques, and her recent posts include a multicoloured 'rainbow' hair tutorial as well as a guide to highlighting using pink, green and yellow foundation.

In another contouring video, Huda brandishes a roll of matte Sellotape before sticking pieces in parallel lines along her cheeks, nose and forehead.

When the 11 pieces are all secured, she begins applying dark foundation with a soft brush, using the tape as a stencil before removing it.

She is then left with a series of neat dark lines, which she blends with a cream-coloured highlighter using a make-up sponge.

The end result is a flawless complexion, and Huda's fans were clearly impressed, with 215,000 likes and more than 16,000
